We are a local, family-owned business with over 35 employees and have over 30 years’ experience delivering excellent service to the hospitality sector. We are the number one choice for free trade pubs and clubs in the Southwest region.

We have built up our company and our reputation since 2008, on service and driving up incomes in the cash box through continued investment in the latest products on the market. We were the first in the region to introduce barware products to our range of gaming equipment and continue to offer flexible rental deals to meet the demands of the hospitality sector.

Corporate Responsibility 

As the leading Gaming and Amusement machine supplier in the south west to pubs and clubs, we are committed to working to an ethical and responsible agenda. 

We are active members of BACTA, the largest UK Trade Association in the gaming machine sector, and are regularly vetted by the gambling commission.

As members of BACTA we are actively involved in producing guidelines and codes of practice, lobbying national government on new bills and changes in legislation.

BACTA liaise with local authorities and the Gambling Commission and encourage all its members to be socially responsible regarding issues such as problem gambling.

Tamar Gaming also supports and make voluntary contributions to Gamble Aware and YGAM, The Young Gamers and Gamblers Education Trust.

Environmental Policy 

We at Tamar Gaming are a family run business and both directors have kids who are young adults who care very much about the environment as we do. We consider ourselves very lucky to live in the Southwest and understand we need to do our bit to protect the environment for the next generation.

Our aim as a business is to be as environmentally friendly and sustainable as possible, we promote a policy that is focused on dramatically reducing our carbon footprint.

    • Change organisational culture by actively seeking out ways to be better informed and encourage conversations within the workplace.

    • Comply with the current regulatory regulations to reduce our environmental impact.

    • Make business decisions with the environment in mind.

    • Reduce our paper and plastic consumption and use recyclables where possible.

    • Minimise our energy consumption.

    • Reduce unnecessary operational travel for Engineers and collectors.

    • Only use licensed contractors dispose of waste

    • Review Cleaning and Maintenance procedures.

    • Discuss our environmental impact at weekly management meetings.

    • Update ourselves on current legislation on a quarterly basis.

    • All purchases need to be as sustainable to the environment as possible.

    • Recycle all materials where possible.

    • Reduce paper invoices by emailing customers.

    • All paper products to be FSC approved.

    • Request all invoicing from our suppliers to be emailed.

    • Converted all lighting to LED.

    • Ask staff turn off all non-essential lights and appliances at the end of the day.

    • Turn down air con temperature by 2 degrees.

    • Installed a new roof to improve the insulation of the building.

    • Install solar panels.

    • Repair and recycle machine parts in house instead of sending parts away for repair.

    • Install online services on new equipment on site to reduce the need for maintenance visits.

    • Replace the fleet of vehicles over the next 5 years with electric vehicles.

    • Purchasing of digital gaming equipment drastically reduces the need to change machines onsite.
